How to Backup or Transfer iPhone Contacts to PC without iTunes or iCloud

There is no doubt contacts are the most valuable part of our phone and what we care most about preserving and backing up. It is a hard reality that, unlike other smartphones, Apple iPhone does not allow users to copy their contacts on the SIM card. You can only copy them on your phone and then back them up on your PC. But, how can you backup or transfer iPhone contacts to PC?
You can easily use iTunes to sync your iPhone contacts with Gmail, Outlook, or Windows Contacts. Now, since the iOS 5 and iOS 6 updates, you can also keep your iPhone Address Book in iCloud. However, not everyone wants to use these techniques and maybe just wants to keep a backup of their iPhone contacts to PC.

Step 1: Launch the program and connect your iPhone to PC
Obviously, the first thing you are going to need to do is install the iPhone Contacts Backup & Restore program on your computer. Once you have installed installed it, you just have to execute the program. Then, you are going to connect the device (your iPhone or iPad) to your computer. The program should automatically recognize the device and display your iPhone contacts in a user interface.
Backup or Transfer All iPhone Contacts on Your PC
This application can be used to backup your all iPhone contacts. In order to do this, you simply need to select your device on the left side of the interface and click the button labeled "Backup Contacts" on the top toolbar or simply right-click on your device and choose "Backup Contacts." That’s it; all the iPhone contacts will be backed up.
Tip: If you want to transfer your iPhone contacts to your PC in CSV, vCard, HTM or PDF format, you need to click "Export Contacts to File" button on the top toolbar or right click on your iPhone and choose "Export Contacts to File".
Backing up/Transferring Selected iPhone Contacts
If you want to backup only selected iPhone contacts, check the contacts you want to transfer in the contact list by holding the <ctrl> key and then click "Backup Contacts" button on the top toolbar. You can also go to File menu and choose "Backup Contacts".
Tip: If you want to transfer these selected contacts to your computer as vCard, CSV, HTML or PDF file, go to File menu and choose "Export Contacts to File" or hit the "Export Contacts to File" button on the top toolbar.
Importing Contacts from the Database to iPhone
Users can also use this application to import contacts from their computer to their device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch). In order to do this, you need to select the database that you're created in the last step. Then, you can click the "Restore Contacts to iPhone" button on the top toolbar or right-click on the database file and choose "Restore Contacts to iPhone".
